  • OK Go released a second video for their single "This Too Shall Pass". They originally released a video of themselves in fanfare uniforms, playing their "This Too Shall Pass" together with the Notre Dame marching band, partly in marching uniform, partly in camouflage. The video, which was released on YouTube on January 82010, shows several scenes, where OK Go and the marching band together march to the music, and the camouflage musicians go in hiding during the quiet periods of the video.

On March 1, 2010, OK Go released a second music video. This second video shows the band members in paint covered overalls, featuring in the middle of an "Incredible Machine" like setting. During the song, the "Incredible Machine" enrolls, including a short dominoes series, several rolling balls, golf sticks, hammers, a swinging cattle, etc. Part of the song is actually 'played' by object of the incredible machine, like a spoon hitting several water-filled glasses. The band members feature at several places around the track, and are even used as 'objects' in the sequence. The video ends with a lot of things happening nearly simultaneous, and lead up to the finale: The four band members facing paint cannons, which finally explain their suits...

According to the band, the video, which was directed by James Frost, OK Go and Syyn Labs, took several months of preparation. It was constructed and filmed in a two story warehouse, in the Echo Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, CA.

Next to the Music Video itself, the band released a series of 'The Making Of.." videos, focusing on several aspects of creating their "Incredible Machine". The four parts of the "Making Of.." can be found lower on this page.

"This Too Shall Pass" is a single of OK Go's album "Of the Blue Colour of the Sky"
